Trail Seeker

My Father in law said he didn't realize what he was in for regarding the surgery, he didn't realize the extent and had he known he would have not done it. He said he doesn't regret it, but he wouldn't have went through it. He thought it would be like getting stents, not a major rework of his heart. He is very weak but recovering now.

My two sister in laws are doing their best to take care of him until my Brother in law(who should be there today) and my wife show up to take over. Mean while the two are getting on each others nerves having to deal with each other over his care.

My wife's oldest sister is not the easiest to get along with and I kind of smile knowing it just wasn't me that finds dealing with her challenging. I just steer clear of her and say nice things to her and I don't live near her to boot.

I am curious how my wife's week will be with just her father, I think she will bond and learn allot about him. My FIL was so excited to hear she is coming out to take care of him, he watched her take care of his wife in her last weeks of her life and wouldn't allow anyone else to take care of her. My wife was so happy to know that he was excited for her to come out.

I got to till the garden this week, yay! Hope we don't get one huge dump of last minute rain like last year. I thought it would be an early garden season last year and then the rain storms came back and made up for all the early dryness we had and delayed the main garden beds to the latest I ever had to deal with.
