There are some pretty stiff winds right now, several brown outs have kicked the UPS on and I would be surprised if we don't lose power tonight. I think if I cut some trees down around here, the wind wouldn't be so noisy. I would shut the computer down, but I have some photos being processed in the background and I hoping they finish first.
I have been working on some family DVD slide shows lately, I like the format for looking at past events that way. The Mt Hood trip is on the forefront and has stalled as I can't find background music that seems fitting yet.
College preps are cranking up, my oldest has been accepted at OIT and has earned the presidential scholarship which is $2000 a year. It is a good start and there are many more scholarships she is applying for, if we put enough time and effort here, she should be set for most or all of her expenses.
On second thought, I think I will let the photo program finish later and shut down now....

We had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Tumes (Musician/Artist) at a promotional concert in Portland on the 4th of November. She has a new album out, her fourth, self titled.
