The past week has been a wet one, earlier this week it was nice spring rains and even a couple of thunder boomers. The last couple of days has been just down right rain. It is supposed to start letting up this afternoon and we can expect sun breaks tomorrow. My second planting of corn is ready, but the soil is to wet to transplant.

My pole bean are planted and should be up soon, last year we had a nice row of beans, then the deer came by and nibbled on a few. I thought that was okay, the plants had filled out and a few leaves gone wouldn't hurt it, the next night the deer cleaned it out. This year I plan to shoot the thing with a .22 loaded with bird shot and keep the motion sensor on at the garden area.

Tuesday is my wife's birthday, I got her a comforter and sheet set. She has been busy changing the theme in the room and we are also still using the comforter we had from our full sized mattress which now is a queen.

I also found some matching fabric that she can make curtains with and more pillow cases if she feels inclined.

The next couple projects are closet doors, there never were any when we move here and still there are none, but she is ready for them, and a new kitchen floor. I never put in tile before, so I should have fun figuring this one out. I am also redoing the kitchen chair seats, what ever company that made them really screwed up on the seat design.

When using a public campground, a tuba placed on your
picnic table will keep the campsites on either side vacant.
