The prognosis for leukemia is not good at all. We could only hope that my MIL doesn't have it, but after researching it, she has the classic symptoms, it is a matter of what type now. Treatment doesn't cure it, only prolongs life for a couple of years at best. My wife understands that and broke into tears this evening.
