The Oregon Coast
With it being spring break for the kids, we hauled ourselves to the coast for several days exploring. We lived in luxery by staying at a hotel that had a pool, spa, workout center and breakfast. We actually spent a bit of time there watching a couple of movies and swimming.

The rugged Oregon coast, waves creating foam as they slam against the rocks.

One of the trails we hikes to see a sitka spruce that was over 400 years old

They sell these fella's at gift shops, canned!

A Trillium in bloom, they are a wonderful flowers. Trillium ovatum.
This is one of 2 species that grows west of the Cascades

That's some gorgeous scenery there. I need to get out in the swamp and take some photos of the irises, which should be coming into bloom.
