Trail Seeker

I have made some good friends through amatuer radio. One such friend is a retired fellow in AZ (Norman) and his wife. Appreciating life hit home with him while he was up here in Oregon. The night before we headed to Ohio for Christmas, he made a suprise visit to our home, the next morning we got a call just before heading out the door to the airport that during the night he suffered a heart attack. Fortionatly for great medicine in our day, he has recovered quite nicely and has more energy now.

When we got back from Ohio, they still had a couple days before heading home to AZ and we got to visit again, this time he brought pictures of his heart of all things, the photos were amazing with the before and after shots. But another piece of bad news hit him, take a look:



Norman told me he was just to happy to be alive, that he wasn't going to worry about this. Despite the mess, he was able to untangle the wire antennas that hang off the tower attach them to the remianing upright portion of the tower and we didn't miss our Sunday night schedule this past weekend.
